sister's having an abortion

The other day my older sister found out she was pregnant. She's already got two kids, but is now getting divorced from their dad. She got pregnant by someone else and well basically, it's all complicated. Her mum and that have been calling her a tart and stuff cos she'll have kids to two different dads. Which isnt really a big deal these days. And seeing as our dad has kids to two different mums.

Anyway, she's decided she's going to have an abortion. Is it wrong of me to feel really sad? i was so excited when she said she was pregnant and really happy. I don't agree with abortions, but obv i understand it's her choice. I just can't help but feel really sad bout it :frown:

Depends. Why are you sad? Because you want this child to live, or because she used to be happy and now isn't because her mum is having a go at her, or something else?

It's not wrong of you to feel sad - you can't help how you feel.
Just make sure you support her & don't make her feel worse about it.

because of it all really. and if you're infering that our dad having kids to two mums is something to do with tartyness or whatever, it's a load of bull. Her mum left him with no explaination. He remarried and has been with my mum for 20 years now.

But does it really matter in this day and age, how many people have kids to multiple partners???

Of course it's okay to feel upset. Obviously I don't know the whole situation but if she is getting an abortion because of what other people are saying/will say I can't help but think it is a terrible waste.
