I did my mocks in December. I didn't work my hardest on them. But I got decent grades in all the important subjects. But my predicted grades are all C's, except for English, which is a B.

I got a B in my Maths, History and Sociology Mock exams, and they predicted me a C.
I'm capable of getting A's in all of the three, and got a B in the mock, yet they predicted me a C.

I want to apply for colleges and sixth forms, but the entry requirements for most subjects are B's.

Can I just apply for the colleges and sixth forms either way?
I know I can work harder to get even better grades in the real thing.

When going to interviews or sending emails, try and justify how you think those predicted grades are not accurate and what you are doing to improve them e.g regular study sessions with friends. And also inform them about your previous results as well so they support what your reasoning.

Lucky!!!! My retarded school doesn't let us find out predicted grades, controlled assessment results because "if you do well, you'll stop trying- if you don't, you'll feel demotivated"...... if anything I'd want to work harder to maintain my high standard or bring it up........
