    It depends on whether you meet the entry requirements. If you meet all the entry requirements for all choices, then they're safe and if you don't meet any of the requirements then it's very risky.

    Well the strange thing is, IB point wise, for a couple of Universities I don't. For Sheffield, the IB score requires is 34, altough the Ucas points required are 345-360, and although I stand at 29, the equivalant in Ucas points is 370. I am quite confused

    If you unsure about this kind of stuff - just email the universities and ask them! I'm applying from Germany and many of the universities don't make it very clear on their websites which grade equivalents they would expect for certain subjects, but I simply emailed a bunch of them and they were all very nice and helpful, giving me all the information I needed. So yeah, just send them an email asking whether your IB results or the equivalent UCAS points would be relevant to your application and I'm sure they'll get back to you with an answer (:
