I feel like sixth form is not for me. I enjoyed it at first.. maybe because I was overwhelmed about meeting new people, teachers etc... but now it's boring and long. I hate the way teachers still treat us like little children. I feel like if it would be better for me to move to a college in September. The only thing holding me back are the friends i've made. what do you think I should do? I also hate a levels and would prefer to do btec next year

I never went to a sixth form and I went straight to College. At first I thought wow this is great not having to be in all day but it gets you in to a really lazy pattern and it is very difficult to motivate yourself to actually get some work done. You are in for as little as 12 hours a week it is just ridiculous.

I would have preferred a sixth form format and I think I would have got better A-Levels as a result of it. Having already done a year, if I were you even if I felt I would prefer college, I would not move now. Friends are the best part of school/sixth form and college, if you have made some good ones sick it out with them, go through the pain together
