    Much better phrasing than mine.

There's a world of difference. A stalker is someone who is actively and possibly imposingly following someone - might try and insert themselves into the quarry's life.

For example - if you admire some girl, you might friend her on fb, look through her pictures, ask about her.

If you're a stalker, you might download her pictures, and keep tabs on where she goes- secretly do big deal things that she does for no reason other than because she does them.

A better situation is the difference between being creepy and flirtatious. That one is truly down to how attractive you are to the person in question. Two people could behave in exactly the same way - but if the subject fancies one of them (and not the other) then one's creepy and the other one isn't.

Clip (PRSOM) said exactly what I wanted to say but better. That should pretty much end this discussion.

The admirer is usually attractive. The stalker is usually unattractive.

No - a stalker is an admirer who doesn't know how to take no for an answer and keeps pressing their suit in the face of rejection.

If you're classy, you're an admirer :smug:

    If you're Foo, you're a stalker

Beig a stalker or admirer has nothing to do with your lucks.

An admirer is someone who is attracted to you physically. A stalker is someone who harrasses, annoys, obsesses and mentally distresses the object of their affection. A stalker can be a man or woman, attractive or not.
