    Hi all,

So here's what it is. At AS, I got BBBB. My school is annoying, and gace me the exact same A2 predictions as my AS results. Due to these low predictions, I couldn't apply to some of the higher unis, e.g. Nottingham, Exeter.

Now, I definitely feel that I can get into these Unis. I got last year's grades with minimum effort, this year I am working hard, and am aiming towards getting 4 x A*/A's.

When I made my UCAS applications end of last year, however, I was repeatedly told not to be overly ambitious with my Unis applications- was told that If I get BBBB, should only aim for Unis which want ABB. I did this. Got offers from Kent, UEA, Essex and Portsmouth (Sussex hasn't replied yet). Kent is the highest Uni out of the 4, but I know I can get higher than the ABB that they want.

Assuming I get 4 x A's, what are the chances that I will get a spot on an Economics course via adjustment to a top Uni, i.e. around Russel group level?

Any and all replies are welcome!!

Varies each year, but if you had 4 As or better, I'd say you stand a good chance
