Reasearch for guide on The University of York

Hello all,

I'm going to be posting a few questions on here in the next week or so to help me with some research for a guide on The University Of York, on behalf of TSR.

I'd love it if anyone could help me out with quotes (full names not needed, it's more to get a real flavour of life at university and what the city and uni has to offer!) Any budding photographers or filmmakers please also feel free to attach images/films that may be used in the guide itself.

If anyone wants to kick-start the discussion by telling me what you feel are the best things about being a student here, then that would be great. I'll post some more specific questions too.

Hello again,

Can anyone tell me what your thoughts are on the nightlife or culture in York? Do you have any favourite bars or restaurants?

And what is your favourite thing/s about studying in York?
