I'm on holiday for A2 results day... watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm going on Holiday with my family to Scotland and I'll be back the 15th. My mum wants to know if it is possible to do it all online or not.

You need to ask your school if they post results online, but they often require you to come in so that they can advise you if results are not as expected.

You can call your school and they'll tell you, it's a lot more stressful than checking online though..

How you receive the results is dependent on the school so ask your exams officer - what options were you offered for your AS results?

    University offers are made online.

Your school should be able to advise on what you are able to do.

But if you can get into school, that's really the best option for you. Assuming you want to head to uni in September/October 2015, if the worst happens and you end up in Clearing, you'll have a much higher chance of being able to find a suitable place for you if you're in school, surrounded by teachers who are used to helping students navigate Clearing.

You'll be able to get on track to check whether you have been accepted. The problem will be if you miss your firm and insurance offers ...

We advise our students not to go on holiday that week - the results day is always (or has been for 40+ years) the second Thursday in August. Most schools won't give results over the phone - is there a fax where you are staying?
Do you think parents should charge rent?
