'Outline and evaluate research into the effects of failure to form an attachment'

What study is supposed to be used for this question?

    Its privation so...
    -Michael Rutter
-Curtis and the study on Genie (1977) - Probably the best to refer to in this study
-Koluchova and the study on the Czech Twins (1976)

My teacher said Rutter I think, but I don't understand how that shows privation?

The link shows how it shows privation, but I agree better studies could be used!

Failure to form attachment can also involve Bowlby i.e continuity hypothesis, if an attachment is not formed the child will not have a working memory model to use as a base for future relationships. A study for this is Hazan and Shaver (if spelt correctly).
