    Hi guys!
im in my last year of high school and i have to do a science project on which i can work for 40 hours. I wanted to create pendulum waves at first but this idea was already taken... Does anybody have some cool ideas?

Build a potato cannon- you can use some kinematics to work out how fast the potato leaves the barrel and derive a distance/angle formula. Then if you have time left you can try and compensate for air resistance

A few years back some people from my school built a vacuum cannon that shot Ping-Pong balls... we all paid 50p to watch our P.E. teacher be given two bats and told to try and return as many as possible...

If you know what a Rubens tube is, that would be pretty awesome (although wouldn't really require much in the way of working stuff out)
