    Hello, where do student finance get their information from to check household income?


    Is it from the electoral roll

    Just curious is all with so many people coming from different areas etc

    You have to send in P60s. They can also check with HMRC.

    As above. Your parents provide proof of their earnings and that is cross-referenced with what HMRC thinks they earn. If the two don't match, SF are likely to put your application on hold while you explain the discrepancy.

    No income information is held on the electoral roll.
