Temple on the Circle and District lines. 1 min walk
Embankment on the Northern line.. 2/3 min walk.

Holborn is your best bet, you take any bus from outside the station (there's always one there) and you dont even have to walk because the bus takes you infront of uni

Temple is closer, but Holborn and Waterloo aren't that far away either. Depends where you're travelling from.

Temple is good if you dont wanna pay for both the tube and the bus it has a good link with Bank/Monument with many of the lines passing through it and then the walk from temple to the campus is very short

It was originally Strand station.. it did change its name later though, apparently everyone still called it the Strand station

Strand and Aldywch were two separate stations.

Strand station is the one boarded up and has the photo booth inside it. It used to be served by the Northern line and was the stop between Charing Cross and Waterloo.

Aldywch station is in the side alley; opposite the side entrance of Deloitte. It used to be served by the Piccadilly line during peak hours (you would have had to change at Holborn in order to get there).

There's a bit of underground history for ya :biggrin:
