Stress or sleep related. I get it when i'm over tired or something is on my mind. Try getting a good nights sleep tonight.

Same as above, just make sure you're getting enough sleep.

LOL yeup there's probably where it's coming from. Seriously just get some sleep and it should go in a couple of days. It's nothing to worry about, just highly annoying.

i know someone that gets it every time exam season comes around

I get eye twitchy when ive been up for 2days trying to finish coursework. Usually a sign of stress and tiredness. Staring at a computer screen isnt fantastic for your eyes - ironically!

I've had twitchy eyes for about 7 years lol. But it's generally due to lack of sleep or too much stress.

yep i posted the same question a few months back and i got the same replies its very annoying anda very strange feeling!!!!

Could it be too much sugar and caffeine as well? I know I get twitchy facial muscles if I eat too many sweets and no proper food. So like, not only underneath my eyes, but at the corners of my mouth/cheek and on my forehead.
I also get them if i'm concentrating really hard on something, because my driving instructor and some teachers have mentioned it. But that might just be me and my weird elastic face. :p:

I've had it before, lasted about a week in one eye. Was annoying.

i used to get that but it was cos i didn't sleep at all and was stressed with everything...so just sleep loads and calm down a bit:smile:

Yep- same as everyone's said so far. It usually is a sign of a lack of sleep or stress; and it should correct itself within a few days. If it doesn't after a week or so, then it might be worth making a visit to the doctor so they can check to make sure that everything is alright, or if it might be best to see your optician.

I remember getting it the night before starting at my secondary school in year seven. Little did I know there would be plenty more occasions after that where it would happen.. :p:

*Grumbles about exams and resulting stress*
