Babies are so cute and cuddly. I will only marry a women who loves (and wants!!!) babies, so we can put together an enormous family.

On the negative side:

-They smell
-Screech loads
-You must always be there for it or it will die because without you, the baby is useless.)

To womens - What must it be like, hell?, to be pregnant?

I can't wait to be pregnant!! .... Well, okay, so I can wait. I'm looking forward to it though. I know all the bad sides and all the horrible things that can happen to you. But to have something that you made inside of you... Maybe I'm getting a little broody, but I would love that.

However, practically, I would not have a baby until I have finished university and have been in the big bad world for a couple of years. Probably about 27/28/29 ish time?? Course, got to find me a husband first (I have to say that I believe in at least starting out with a husband if possible. If the divorce etc happens then so be it, but I would start with the Mum and Dad and Sprog x 2 portrait)

Oooh. I feel all broody now. I want one!!

I want kids, but not for another 8 odd years.

Reply 8

Children under the age of 7 quite scare me. Above that, we're great pals.

I want kids deparately, and last year while doing my a-levels I accidentally got pregnant, and no I didnt freak out at all! but I had a miscarriage, and it nearly killed me. People kept saying things like oh thank god you didnt want a kid to ruin your life now, and technically they are right as i was in no position for a child and it was totally unplanned, but i was so devastated that I lost it! Now im at uni and gettin on with things i couldnt have done if id had a baby but i still occaisionally regret that things turned out the way they did.

There's still plenty of time. You've learnt from your experience, and what you've learnt is that you definitely want to be a mum. But at least you're sensible enough to be waiting.

As for the people saying it would have ruined your life, how do they know that? Ok, you would have had to alter when you sat your A-levels, and then do uni part-time, but it wouldn't have ruined your life, it would have just meant you'd have had to do things a little differently.

(EDIT: My sister got pregnant while in her 2nd year of her HND, she completed the HND and is now a registered childminder. Whether having kids "ruins your life" is whether you let it or not.)

Personally, I'm not keen on the idea of having kids, and don't want them, but I'm reserving the right to change my mind should I find a bloke to settle down with.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

in terms of the OP yeah I'd love a baby now. I've been feeling so damn broody since my mate casually told me about her abortion and I started seeing baby related things everywhere.

But I know realistically it would screw my education and finances up. So whilst i might want one, I'm not taking any steps to having one.

I never wanted children until I got pregnant 7 months ago. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage, but now I realise that yea, having a baby wouldn't be as bad a thing as I previously thought it would.

My girlfriend does not want kids for a good few years yet, she wants to get some money behind her which i totally agree with.

Same, although I would love kids, I'd like to establish my career first and have enough money in order to give them the life I would want for them...music lessons, ballet, football...the lot!
