Now, I'm no luddite and know my fair share about tech but at the same time, I'm always worried about making the wrong choice when it comes to buying tech.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a cheap 7.9-8.3 inch tablet pc below £150

    I've seen

    The hudl 2
    http://www.tesco.com/direct/hudl2-8-...skuId=493-2689

the acer Iconia one 8 (b1-810)

    http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptop...29166-pdt.html

    and the
    acer iconia tab 8 (a1-840FHD)

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/2660163.htm

does anyone have any experience with any of these? are there any other tablets that are worth looking at? Performance and battery life are key concerns, although the yoga 8 is a bit too odd for me.

    all suggestions need to have

    at least
    1GB of RAM
    16GB storage
    Microsd slot
    720p IPS display
    decent processor.

Thanks for the input, I think what this will come down to is which tablet is voted the best or if say the One 8 goes down to about £70-£90(unlikely)

whichever it is I will try and get hold of at some point.

Unfortunately the Linx 10 doesn't quit fit my needs, as I would prefer android for a tablet.

As above, the Hudl 2 is hands down the best of that bunch and the best tablet in this price range.

Hudl wins by far........my main reason is the 2gb ram, quad core processor and Full HD screen, its an absolute bargain. Nothing will even come close. The Nexus 7 2013 occasionally shows up on sale at £99, currently refurbs only available at that price off Argos ebay I think.
