TSR introduced the notifications tab a while ago and I wonder if you ever plan to improve it.

If a user, such as myself, uses watched threads as a core element of the TSR experience (equally or more so than rep or WQM) then the notification tab is a bit useless considering I still need to return to the home page (or refresh it) to be informed of what I actually want to know. Being informed of WQM/rep in the interim between being on the home page doesn't add to the experience.

    Thoughts?
Are you suggesting that watched threads should be included in the notifications widget? If so, see here: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=3029637

Personally, I agree that the notifications area doesn't really serve all that much point - I prefer the separate widgets which make things much clearer in most cases. What would be great would be if the widgets updated (and highlighted new entries) without a page refresh, as the notifications area does. This applies for both the home page and the sidebar widgets.
