Why do people keep quoting hellfire quotes. It seems bad worshipping him if your intention is solely to get into heaven or solely to avoid hell.Shouldn't you be worshipping Allah for the sake of it rather than through a primary motive?

What if your bettering the world or learning e.g. science? I rememeber somewhere in the Quran it said Knowledge was important. I would love to go before God and tell him" I used everything you gave me ".Hence the dedication to knowledge and using it for the better and improvement of lives.

So basically people like unscrupulous bankers violate that quote?

Well it's aimed at me Kadak so I'll reply. Truth is "some" people go on about how we quote about the hell-fire etc You know who I'm talking about, so today's topic quotes I based on hell-fire and those who are wrongdoers etc

It serves as a reminder that our actions can have consequences. People do worship Allah for the sake of it but we can't just ignore that our actions can lead to reward/punishment.

I don't think that's an appropriate question...or appropriate for us. How can we pick the greatest words of Allah? It is not within our limits to do so.

I know what you're getting at but the wording is important...
