Hello! I took the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O Levels and got 3 As, 3Bs and 2Cs (we don't have A*s for the S-C GCE O Levels), and i'll be taking the SAT Subject Tests instead of the GCE A Levels. Can i apply for university with my O Levels and SAT Subject Tests? the O Levels are equivalent to the US high school diploma, right? Thank you in advance!

Where are you hoping to go to university?

Most UK universities will not accept SATs in place of A levels. Even US applicants to UK universities will usually be asked to complete the IB or AP exams for entry.

If you're applying to US universities then SATs will usually be acceptable.

Remember that US degrees are generally a year longer than UK degrees - that means the entry standards required for UK degrees are usually higher.

You are best contacting the universities you want to apply to directly to ask if the qualifications you're taking are accepted by them.
