Hello,

Just today I saw the letter asking to register to vote as I was the whole month away from home.

I just registered, but the deadline was the 9th, so I am 3 days late. The letter says I can get fined with £80 if they don't receive the information by then.

Now that I registered (3 days late), could I still get fined? Anyone with a similar story to share?

Thanks a lot,

Nick.

Scare tactic to get you to register. They won't fine you.

In theory - but it isn't going to happen as it's not worth the effort.
