I found someone to do a reference for me but I'm no longer in school so it isn't a teacher. They're involved in the teaching of the course I'm applying for and have asked me to send some bullet points to incorporate into the reference. What on earth could these be? What do referee's have to write when it comes to referencing?
    Thanks guys

Basically it's mostly over-positive waffling about what a wonderful human being you are. Nothing negative ever goes into a reference, as far as I'm aware.

You are leaving this ridiculously late. The deadline is Thursday and if you haven't even identified a referee by this stage then your chances of a) asking someone and them agreeing and b) expecting them to drop everything to write you anything that will do the job in 48 hours, is probably ZERO.

This is the UCAS advice for referees : http://www.ucas.com/how-it-all-works...erees/referees

But if you have any sense you will wait until October and apply for 2016 entry, and therefore give both your PS and reference - and probably your entire application - the time and consideration it actually requires.

What are you applying for? Where?

It's a bit late to leave it until now.

But basically write all the positive things about yourself.
