    Hi

I recently came across this method called spaced repetition. Does this method actually work? How often should I recap my knowledge?

Currently I go over work I did the day before and then learn new content- but how can I apply spaced repetition to my revision technique?

    Thanks

For me it depends on what subject but I find it useful particularly if you fine you have a lot of work to do its best not to cram it all in

Is that when you revise a topic, then go over it the next day, then three days later, a week later etc?

If so then I personally don't see how it would help, especially when you are leaving gaps like a week later, as you may forget something big near to exams and have to cram it all.

If its for Bio, Chem or Psychology I would say it would probably be better to just do past paper questions as your are recapping, getting better at exam technique and also learning when you go over papers.
