haha - i like the thought of 'hello' like some have just said.
i tend to do the nod thing though, yes i know i'm a girl but most of my guy friends do it, so its worn off onto me.

yeah, i like the nod thing. at times though it seems very 'friend' like though, as if they think of you just like their guy mates..

what kind of a hello are you trying to direct it as? eg.. hello love, or hello friend?

I dont think either. For men doing the nod thing removes a 1000 words, this phenomenon is impossible to explain. However for girls, the preferable, are you ok darling/ how was your day hunny/ your eyes are beautiful like spanners....... everytime i see them my nuts tighten/etc. work best.
