I don't think it is. It's not my friends scene either really so i've been clubbing on my own a couple of times but i go with a group of my cousins now.

Not in your situation I don't think so. What I do hate is people who go out alone and then leach onto people they happen to bump into. If we wanted you to hang around with us then we'd have invited you in the first place.

Nothing wrong with it.

I dont see the point of clubbing with friends as its too loud to talk to them.
I have been out on my own once, was a fantastic night! Dont really want to do it again though.

Good lad!

Arrived on freshers week late on my own, went out alone. Was excellent.

Ok probably couldnt've done it as a nervous 18 year old, but at 20 it was great fun.

hey

is it terribly sad to go to a nightclub alone.
its just that there is a dj group on that i really wanna see and none of my friends wanna go....its not their scene tbh.

is it grossly abnormal to go somewhere like that alone....i have no other choice really!!

nah.
its a good way of making new friends.
it may be sad if you went on your tod and didn't socialise at all though..
It's not sad, but I wouldn't do it unless I knew for sure there was someone else I knew who was going to be there.

What i like about this is how they've posted this anonymously as if the guy is gonna find where they live and come after them.

I feel deeper issues at work here,as freund would often say.
Surely going to the club alone is merely your own love for horses manifesting itself in an action.I would advise you to find out where the nearest stables are and shoot all the horses; thus forcing any subconscious love of horses to be squashed. The session is now closed that will be £400.

hell yea, i've done it a couple of times. I'd rather be at a club alone having fun then sitting at home thinking 'damn i wish i could have got someone to come with me'. It depends on the night though, if its a night where pulling is the aim or whatever, then i wouldn't want to go alone to that [eg student nights], but if its a place where its all about the music, it doesn't matter if you just lay back and enjoy it. When i'm out i dont consider 'i wander who this person is with' unless they are being proper weird and i'd want to hint for themto go away, but that doesn't really happen. Anyone who thinks its 'sad', well, i'm sad you're so insecure you cant do things without a friend holding your hand. Sure, its better with friends but sometimes that isn't possible!

Maybe they are just trying to make friends? How could they do this if everyone had your attitude?

What you just said is sad! I think it shows individuality rather than having someone to hold your hand all the time or being a tag along.

You appear to have misunderstood. The OP has friends who don't like the music. Please remember to shut up at appropriate times.
