Dont forget the secret handshake in order to get into the club
Don't worry. Dress up, have a drink, go out.

Simple.

Is it a club for gays only?

:hugs:
??

What do you mean by out? do you mean to a club or do you mean to any sort of social activity outside a building?

Get drunk before you go. Thats a plan that never fails (until you go to a cousin's 7th birthday party, not speaking from experience or anything !)

I'll teach you the handshake
just practise a few dance moves before you go and SMILLLLLLLLLLLLLLE

You'll probably just laugh when you read this... I'm 18 but I've never been 'out' properly before. I'm invited to something next week, and because it would be my first time dressing up and going to a club, I'm really nervous.

aah don't be. just be yourself, enjoy yourself and make the most of it =]

At this time of year it's cold. Wear a scarf.
I went to my first club when I got to 18 and was at uni. I just went with new friends, walked in and basically took over the dance floor! I was fine!

So I assume you never leave the house?

1 - spend a little longer than usual pampering yourself. You'll feel more comfortable/confident.

2 - wear something nice but that you feel comfortable in - there's nothing worse than spending all night pulling your jeans up/ making sure you on't lean over too far and flash your cleavage.

3 - maybe have one drink befor you go, to loosen youself up a little, but don't go overboard.

4 - relax and have a good time - there's no point going if you aren't planning aren't planning to enjoy yourself

and hey, have fun

You mentioned 'dressing up' so I assume you're a girl. Apologies if you're not. What you could do to get rid of the first-night-out jitters is arrange to meet up with all your girl-mates at one girl's house, and all get dressed up there. You could do each other's hair/manicure/make-up and share dressing-up tips. It's a great way to get into the party mood and feel confident before you venture into a club. Apart from that, just be yourself, keep an eye on your drinks and you'll have a great time!
Damn, outvoted. Oh well, he's still not funny so that's fine.
Just have fun and look the business :d

Seriously(for once) I think the fact that you've never been out is kinda sweet, theres nothing hotter than the sweet and innocent type of girls, you are a girl arent you, so what you wearing?

P.S: If your a guy, your a filthy liar for tricking honest people into believing your a girl. shame, shame on you.
P.P.S: So what you wearing?
At this time I'm tempted to offer a quote which is so apt however due to it's paedophilic undertones interwoven with an angry mod who has dished out 10 points to me in the last 10 mins I shall refrain until next week.
