I just wanted to see how many people on here are applying to uni after doing an apprenticeship instead of A-Levels.

I was always told that apprenticeship don't lead to uni, but here I have with 3 unconditional offers and still waiting on the other 2.

So did anyone else here go through the route to?

I am hoping there are a lot more as I am 100% for apprentice's going to uni and want to show others that you don't have to just end your education there because some people say we shouldn't be allowed into Higher Education without A-Levels.

First of all, well done for recieving 3 unconditional offers, that's great news! I think it's a great idea doing an apprenticeship before doing a degree because it gives you an insight into a career to see whether you like it. Also you will have work experience when you finish your degree which is an advantage.

In an apprenticeship, you're working just as hard as you would if you were at college or sixth form; because not only are you working full time, you're also working towards a qualification too! As long as you are capable of being able to study at university level, there should be no barriers in terms of whether you went the Sixth form route or the college/apprenticeship route.
