Hi guys sorry if this is in the wrong section as i am new here and just confused by it all

So, i have a dilemma. i currently work part time at McDonald which is 1 hour away from my house and only get paid 4.35 p/h and only saturdays and sundays (customer care assistnant) but I've recently applied for a customer assistant position at my local Sainsbury's (15 bus ride) which would pay me 5.30 p/h but would enable me to do Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

    no brainer right?

However, my problem is that the sainsbury's position is only a temp position ending in march so i don't know whether to take it (if offered) or to continue at McDonalds.

    so here are my questions:
Are sainsbury's temp staff usually kept on?
if there chance for promotion/progress?
are they a friendly company to work with?

Im a good worker as i have been at my Mcdonlads for 6 months now and i am one of the best staff on lobby out of the 6 that started with me and i am employee of the month for October which shows that i am a good worker and make the extra effort. would this attitude help keep me on? because i am currently scared to hand in my two weeks notice and then after march (the end date) not to have a job as i having driving lessons at the moment i need to finish and finish saving up for university.

    Thank you for you time
