hey its a girl problem, bascially me and 1 of my housemates really like this girl at the same time. She texted me today saying that she couldn't come to the last lecture due to heavy traffic, which was true. This girl - I have been getting really close recently, like I walked her home, and we stayed alone together quite often and she even let me touch her hair. So today I came home, finding that my housemate wasn't here - who he usually is. Then I talked to another of my housemates, and I was told that they were gonna watch a movie tonight. Now he's just come back. And the situation is awkard - the film finished at around 10-ish and now its already 12...I just don't know - both how to face my hosuemate, as well as maybe I am too paranoid about this and it may be like a friend gathering - But I guess only 2 went....I am really confused :frown:

you've gotta talk to your friend, and both of you have to come to an agreement that none of you willl touch the girl

none of you will go for her

end of story

you have to be fair on both parties

well, at least in my opinion

friendship is far, far more important to me than girlfriend

no mate, my housemate is back. and Im talking to her on msn as we speak, but she just ignored the bits about me asking her if it was a good date tonight (i asked this question to see if they were actually dating). but she ended up talking sth else :frown:

Talk to your friend, find out what his intentions are. Does he care about her as much as you or even in the same way? Or is he just after one thing?
It won't be good, both of you competing for her, the longer it goes, the worse it will be for everyone.

Well I see your a student in Bath and I live there so know for a fact that all the cinemas are nasty so they probably had a rubbish night. You can do better than that. Ask her out on a counter attack date and blow your flatmate out of the water.

I have just accidentally overheard that my housemate's conversation that they kissed last night - not sure if i heard it right, but the wall is quite thin. I just feel that my heart has sunken....

Should I have talk to the girl, cos I want to sort this out asap otherwise I will keep feeling really... :frown:

I really dont have anyone to talk to about how I feel at the moment, seems like everyone that I know is helping my housemate. I just can't be that calm and steady and happy now, not even to pretend that I am

Next time you're alone with the girl, let her know you have feelings for her. If she is THAT important.

If you value your friend more, then tell him you like her - and go from there.

If you REALLY value the friend, then say nothing and look elsewhere for a girl. This way you keep both friends, and both of them happy.
