tan 0.5 θ = -1?

tan 0.5 θ = -1 between 0 < θ < 360, find values for θ

i tried to do inverse tan of the -1 and then double both sides and i ended up with -90 but i don't think thats right

Yes, that's right so far. You want your solutions in the range 0 < θ < 360 though, so use graphs/CAST diagrams/whatever method you've been taught to identify other solutions within the range.
