Pulmonary embolism- how did you cope? watch

Hi everyone, I'm at uni and have had 2 episodes of pulmonary embolism in the last 2 years. I've never met anyone else even close to my age who have been through the same thing. It's really affected my uni life as I haven't fully recovered and struggle to find the energy to keep up with work. Constantly having to miss lectures to go to hospital appointments and asking for extenuating circumstances is really fustrating!

I can't help thinking that I would recover a lot faster if I took time out from uni, but realistically there's no guarantee I'll completely recover anyway. (And I'm too stubborn..)

Does anyone else have experiences of coping with PEs at uni? I'd love to hear from you x
