Are you able to work part-time whilst you're studying?
What is the hardest part of the course?
Any advice for starting the course this September?

Hi guys, I'm a final year nursing student (Adult).

Timetable + placement time/ length varies from university to university.

During first year, at my university, we had loads of lectures to make sure all the basics are covered before practice.
I had 2 placements in first year, first one started in January until March (8 weeks) then May to July (8 weeks).

As for taking part time jobs, that is absolutely dependent on the student. I have friends working bank shifts as HCA's and they do just fine with uni. It's a lot of hard work but its not impossible. Obviously, as the year progresses, we spend more and more time in practice so it's not advisable to overwork yourself. Imagine working 37.5 hours a week as a student + part time job + deadlines. It's crazy.

Good luck guys Any questions feel free to ask!
