BUNAC recruitment fair

I have applied to BUNAC for the USA camp exchange this summer and I my application is now circulating camps. There is a recruitment fair coming up in London and I am wondering whether or not to go, it will cost quite a bit for the journey for one day and I was wondering if anyone has any advice who has previously been to the recruitment fairs or like wise if anyone has been through the BUNAC summer camp exchange USA without having gone to one of these recruitment fairs? Is it really necessary that I attend in order to get chosen by a camp?

Hi there,

We definitely recommend that everyone attend one of the Camp Recruitment Fairs either in Manchester or London, it definitely increases your chances of being hired as you are able to talk to the Summer Camp Directors directly and show your enthusiasm and show your personality. We find that lots of people signed up to our Summer Camp USA programme get hired on the day!
