Hi I'm Columbus 85, I'm a 29 yr old male living in Suffolk, I graduated without hons in 2009 and am thinking about trying to convert my degree to an honours degree or maybe even put it towards a new degree for some credit. Not sure if it's possible but thought I'd try and get some advice, Google proved unhelpful so I thought I'd try this to see if anyone knows the system well enough to help. I currently volunteer as a Community First Responder which I enjoy and am happy to continue with but the downside is it's unpaid and I frequently find myself arriving at the same time as or just after the Ambulance Crew meaning it's a wasted journey, frustrating and costly as I live 10-15 mins from the town where most of my calls are. I'm thinking about starting on a career path to become a student paramedic and have applied for the current EEAST vacancies that I am eligible to apply for but if that is not successful I will probably need to re-train.
