tattoo below collarbone? chavy?

I really want to get a tattoo!! I previsously went to get a pink bow tattoo on my lower back, but needed ID and so cudnt get it done. So as soon as i turn 18 (in jan) i want to get a tattoo Im slightly worried about the pain of having it done on my back, so im now thinking that i should have one of the other tattoos i want done first. I want 3 blue stars desending in size jst below my collar bone curving round slightly. Im thinking that you dont really get fat there and so it could be a gd place to do it done. Ne one else had ne tattoos done there? Sum1 suggested that it might be a bit chavy, but i dont think stars are as chavy as a bow?

Not sure about chavvy, but won't it hurt on your collarbone 'cos of it being, well, bone?

its not exactly on my collar bone, it would be further down then that. Almost on my chest would prob be a better way to describe it.

You mean you want it so guys look at your boobs when you are wearing a low cut top?

Yeah that is chavvy.

I personally think that all tatoos look quite chavvy, so yeah I'd say it would do, in my opinion.

Why are people obsessed with irreversibly defiling their bodies? I've just responded to the guy who had a piece of metal shoved into his tongue and I'll give you the same reply, don't bother.

because some people respect art, see their bodies as a work of art and want to improve on it, in their own eyes.

Not meaning to get all high and mighty on you, but you're 17, and I can't tell you the amount of times I've changed my mind and opinion on things between 17 and 21 - Bet you a lot of money that in a year or so you regret that horribly.

if you have it done on your chest and not on your boob, it will hurt like soddomy. becuase there's not much flesh or fat between the bone. it will hurt. about the same amount as your back or whatever i would assume

NO actually, it wouldnt be that low down! I'm seriously like the least chaviest person. I wouldn't lower myself like that, thanks

Stars are so emo tbh. Chavs > Emos. And getting one on your lower back is sort of the sign of a filthy (in a good way) girl. I recommend lower back :yy:

probably some of the best advice out there to be honest. dont get anything done until your absolutely sure you want it done as you are permanently scarring yourself. That said though i had my tattoo done aged 16 and a few months. I had wanted the said tattoo and the design for a good 2 years prior to getting it done, and have not regretted getting it done ever since. I regret getting my ears pierced more than my tattoo and i had those done afterwards. so all in all just remember you will have it on you for life, if your not sure you will like it where you have suggested, do not get it done. make your mind up what you want, wait a few months if you still want it, go and get it done:smile:

everyone always says this and i have never fully understood the comment. i am absolutely sure that i have never seen a 70 year old women walking around in a low-cut top showing off a tattoo on her chest. By the time your 70 the vast majority of your body not be looking at its nicest so why not get a tattoo. I shall never live for when im 70 because i could die tomorrow, i could not. By the time im 70 hopefully i will be happily married with grandkids and shall not be worried by what other people think i look like because i shall have the companionship i want. Thinking about how its going to look when your 70 then to me seems like the stupidest reason not to get a tattoo done, because think about how you are going to look and feel at 70 anyway:rolleyes:

I reiterate my observation that threads in H&R always seem to come in bunches, anyone else notice this?

if you were planning on showing anyone your ass when your 70 then i should hope you would feel like a ******. and anyway if that design had some special importance to you and symbolised something of your youth, whos to say you would feel like that. People do not know how they are going to feel about something in the future, if people KNEW they would regret tattoo's they would not get them. If people KNEW they wouldnt regret that tattoo then im sure they would get them. I may feel like a **** for getting my tattoo next week, next month, next decade. But i feel that within myself at my state of mind i wont.

I'm tattooed and I'm quite looking forward to being a tattooed old lady. I think it will be a welcome reminder of being younger and less wrinkly, and I believe it will always be a part of the person I am. However, I would advise anyone below about 20 years old to wait for a bit. I've wanted tattoos for years but only got my first one when I was 22, and I had known what I had wanted for about two years prior to that.

And regarding tattoos looking chavvy, I think that the people at the London Tattoo Convention a few weeks ago might have changed your mind

If you had a low-cut top it wouldn't take a tatoo to make guys look at your boobs.

A tatoo doesn't really make you look like a chav. It's your attitude that does. For example; burberry hats and hoods are stereotypes and wel maybe some will say you'r a chav, but it's really when you go up to a random innocent and say "wot wot you looking at" and when you graffiti and when you are disrespectful and get your phone out to play as loud as possible the worst songs ever at full blast - that really makes you a chav!

You don't sound chavvy, by the way.
