I am currently in my third year of my Psychology with American Studies course, which is accredited by the BPS. I was just wondering if I was to complete a PhD course in the States would I still be able to practise within the US or would the course need to be completed in the UK?

You wouldn't be able to practise being a professional psychologist anywhere. A phd is a research degree, you don't become a professional psychologist by getting one.
