    Hello ejwvs,

I am a Marketing student currently on my placement year at the university. From my experience so far, I'd say I have really enjoyed life here in Plymouth. For me, the best thing about Plymouth is the fact that everything is so close; the city centre, most university accommodations, supermarkets, bars and clubs, etc. are all located right next to the university, with the seafront or the countryside not far away.

I have studied at the business school (where you'll be located) for two years and I'd say the lecturers and tutors have all been very friendly and helpful. (love the sausage rolls at the cafe there as well!)

I'm sure you'll enjoy it like I did, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

    Kind regards
    Bryan

Before coming here, I had no idea it will be so amazing. I'm truly having the time of my life here.

Students (at least in my circle of friends) are extremely friendly and fun to hang out with. The majority is going out every week from 1-5 days per week (depending on how much money you have and how much of a party animal you are). Usually normal student night out looks like that: predrinks in the flat -> Student's Union (cheap entrance, cheap drinks, crowded almost every night of the week, not a bad place to be) -> Cuba/Oceana/Walkabout etc.

I you are an outgoing person, Plymouth is a place to be.

    First year student

    Really enjoying it here

There are plenty of places to go for shopping, clubbing etc

I really like the uni itself, there is a good range of societies and sports clubs to join.

Havent seen or met any unfriendly students.
