yup, dont know how much, sometimes more than other times...usually some weekdays and weekends, a few drinks in a night....not too sure though!

Yep but rarely, I always get hammered at house parties or special occasions but other than that I don't as i don't like the taste of any alcoholic drink, i only drink for the effect.

Vague poll. I drink frequently in moderation, often four or five nights of the week - usually just one or two glasses of brandy, gin and tonic or wine. However, I suspect some people wouldn't consider drinking moderate amounts of alcohol most nights as "moderation".

Technically - as in alcohol units consumed over a specific period of time - I binge drink once or twice a week, whether it's a bottle of wine in one night, or a night out during which I'll mix my drink for the most part; but seldom do I get drunk nowadays, which I feel is an integral part to the so called "binge culture".

A few months ago I would have answered 'in moderation' but now it seems like I am drinking too much every weekend.

Don't drink

I only really drink at parties, and then I only drink to the stage where I feel happy and relaxed and more sociable, and stuff. So that's a maximum of 2/3 times a month, though more like the once really. I occasionally have a glass of wine with a meal. If I have a cold or I'm feeling cold and horrible, I sometimes have some hot tomato soup with a shot of vodka in it.

I love how 'less than once per week' constitutes as 'very rarely'. :p: [Gawd, I need to cut with that icon...]

Not had a drink in a while now, 2/3 weeks? It's all unis fault for giving us a crap timetable doesn't have space for drinking in it, although we should really do something on our 4 days off, but when there's only two of you it can get boring, everyone else lives either miles away or not in the city! It's so boring and anoying not having a drink I'm missing playing pool and having a pint...:frown:

I drink strictly once a year, on November the 17th, which is when my mother died. I save 30p every day the whole year, and come my mother's deathday, I buy a bottle of Dom Perignon, a bottle of brandy and a Chinese take-away, and get rat arsed in memory of mother.

That's random as hell.

This poll isn't very good. I tend to drink every night. It's impossible to "binge" every night. Bingeing refers to people only drinking once or twice a week and getting absolutely slaughtered. Constant drinking is the complete opposite to binge drinking.

I very very very rarely get slaughtered, but i like to relax with the odd drink at night. I certainly don't depend on it, especially considering I haven't drunk in a while because I keep forgetting to go and get some bloody beer.

Thus, the nearest category I would box myself into would be "in moderation," which itself is very vague given it is open to interpretation.

not really i dont like the taste.

if i do drink its to not feel awkward by not drinking

i've only got drunk once at a friend's bday

I drink in maybe four or five nights a week, usually in moderation, but I have a binge (not a government defined binge - which is a ridiculously low amount; I drink that with dinner most of the time - a proper one) maybe one or two nights a week.

I get through quite a lot of booze.

I binge drink (as above ) maybe two or three times a week. I very rarely have alcohol as an accompinment (too early in the morning to spell properly) to a meal or a random glass of wine. If I drink, it's at the pub. If I'm at the pub, I binge. However, that doesn't mean I get drunk 3 nights a week. It just means that I exceed the limit of alcohol that I should. :P

I'm in college so I'm young and, being the idiotic self I was, followed suit in Year 10/11 and got drunk occasionally with friends. The recent summer holiday smacked me in the face as to how foolish I was (after I got my terrible GCSE results) and how I didn't need to do it, so I've given up. I was very naive I think, and my friends still do it (almost daily now) so I've given up on them too lol. Don't want to be around these happily-wasted people anymore.
