This probably fits better within the fitness section but I really wanted to post anonymously.

I'm 17 and been interested in the gym and fitness since about 13 years old. Within the last two years I've taken a particular interest in toning up my core and legs/bum. This is working great for me as I've had a personal trainer, stringent fitness plan and have been careful(ish) in my eating (without going on one of those ridiculous diets). I feel V positive about myself and confident about my figure nowadays... My body isn't perfect but I'm getting to my ideal shape and physique.

I just wonder if maybe there's a stigma about tones girls? I don't want massive muscles in my arms and thighs and I don't want a six pack.. I just want a flat and slightly toned tummy, tone bum, arms and legs... But I can't help feel judged sometimes that perhaps I take fitness too seriously and that girls shouldn't be in such a mindset etc etc

    What do you think?

If fitness is your passion, then you're not taking it too seriously. I don't see anything wrong with eating right and working out. As long as you're not overdoing it and it isn't taking over other areas in your life, then it doesn't seem to be anything to worry about.
