If you're a size 8, why are you trying to gain weight (unless it's muscle)?

Start deadlifting. That'll thicken your lower back out pretty well.

Its so unusual for people to want to gain weight and put on inches. Its really refreshing to hear!! Good luck to all of you!

No, we really do exist!

Why are you trying to gain weight from an 8?

Reply 10

Because my BMI is lower than 19 (which means I'm considered underweight). I'm tall and a size 8.

I'm trying to gain weight because I lost a load from being ill and now although my waist is small enough to fit in a size 8 my bone structure just isn't. At the moment I'm having to put up with size 10 trousers that fit my hips but are baggy round the waist.

So there's one reason why someone would want an extra little bit of weight.

I know the rest of the population is doing the exact opposite to me haha. I'd love to have curves :frown:

Hahaha now my jeans don't fit me properly. Bit of a muffin top effect. Time to go shopping!!!
Last time I checked, went from 119 lb to 132 lb. But it's been a few weeks since that. And my breasts are getting a bit bigger, I'm happy about that.

Bananarama
For the past 6 weeks at uni I've been trying to put weight on.

The good news: I can no longer fit into my size 8 cords, yay!!
The bad news: My size 8 cords were all I had to wear today....

Lol.

Ooh! How have you been doing it? I wanna put on weight too, but whatever I eat nothing happens (and i'm a junk food addict:p:)...

Having a big breakfast, and then eating often throughout the day.

I used to just have cereal in the morning when I was at home. Now because I'm in catered halls I have sausage (either veggie or pork), beans, hashbrowns, juice, either a roll or a croissant, aswell as cereal.

Oh and milkshakes! They are good apparently for putting on weight, so I have them with cookies for an afternoon snack.

I hate the dinners here though, so I'm going self catered. I think if I ate properly in the evening I could put more on.

I'm on a gap so can eat what I want when I want - and i do just that....it's not working for me though weight-wise...maybe i'll just drink gallons of cream every day? :p: mmm sickly..

Though that said, I went for a week snowboarding in march and put on a stone from the muscle....but I don't wanna have more muscle, I wanna be fatter :P

To stay healthy I would recomend snacking on unsalted nuts, n eating lots of carbs, rather then filling up on snacks...
Also do exercise

Why?

There's a reason it's Jessica Alba and Girls Aloud calendars that sell so much and not Lisa Riley calendars.

Err im guessing that they dont want to weigh like 15 stone, they probably just want to have a nice, slightly curvy figure. And in the real world, Girls Aloud etc are very very thin.
