Am i doing the right thing?

Hey everyone,

I really really like this guy, Pete, and from past behaviour and what has been said he quite likes me. Only problem is that he has a girlfriend so I refuse to flirt with him that significantly because of it. For the past few weeks he has been saying he's going to break it off with this girl, he even set a date for it, but guess what, he never did it. I'm getting rather bored with waiting and the other day one of his aquaintences, Rich, asked me out for a drink so I said yes, he's quite a nice guy. But am I doing the wrong thing...I still really like Pete, more than Rich so am i just leading Rich on (yet I dont know him that well). Also if Pete finds out i'm going for a drink with Rich will it send him the impression I like Rich or that I'm not going to wait for you forever?

Any thoughts on the matter MUCH appreciated

It sounds like Pete is messing you about and he's taken so forget about him. And as for Rich..you've only been out for a drink with him so I wouldn't stress about it! :smile:

A drink is a drink not commitment to a lifetime together! :biggrin:

I also really really like a guy who is with someone, and tbh although we haven't cheated thats due to convenience not moral considerations. I want him, he wants me, we are keeping that option open. However he has a gf so I dont see why I cant see other people in the mean time! Basically im saying see whoever you want, and wait and see what happens with the gf guy, he can hardly take offence at you going for a drink with someone else when he still has a girlfriend! And as for leading the other guy on - its only a drink, not a marriage proposal Lol!
