    Hi all,
I am 28 and am attempting to make some sort of career for myself after some troubled years.I have little to none work experience but do have level 2 Math and English aswell as a Btec level 3 in electronic engineering from college.

    My ideas are:

To find a job or career that uses and possibly will develop my electrical engineering qualification.

    Job/career as an electrician.

job/career in the automotive industry as a mechanic etc.

    Job/career as a telecoms engineer.

I'm a little clueless as to where to start on this to be honest.I've been from the job center to A4E to National Career Service and back again several times in a loop over the years, trying to find a solution to this very problem that still, Is yet to be found.I know my age will most likely mean that apprenticeships are going to be a problem. Can anyone give me some advice on what I could do ?

    Thanks

A lot of apprenticeships won't be open to you, but by no means all. They're definitely worth looking at and applying for.
