For my mocks today, in french the essay question was 'why is TV less popular in todays world?'

i then went to write why ia TV more popular and wrote all the reasons for this.

i made a stupid mistake and im wondering how itll affect my grade (essay /35)?

I wouldn't bother, you misread the question that happens all the time in exams and people make silly mistakes. It's only a mock so learn from it and remember to read the question then reread it again properly in the real thing.
Telling your teacher you know you made a mistake won't change what's written so just use it as something to learn from
You won't lose any of the grammar marks etc and tbh what you've done isn't that wrong because you could have argued the reasons it's less popular and then countered that with a few reasons why it's more popular so I wouldn't panic.
You will lose some marks obviously but i doubt it'll be a disaster. Look at the mark schemes for other essays for further guidance.

It's a mock for heavens sake
Have chat with your teacher in the next lesson or when you get your result
And lesson learned for the summer exam, read the question carefully
