I was wondering what are some good cheap or free art universities I could apply to. I want to study illustration.

Also what alevel grades they require and if there are specific subjects they prefer. Currently I'm doing AS economics and business studies. I'll sit for art and design next year.

    Thanks!

There are no free universities in England, most places charge £9K a year and the few that don't tedn to be around £7.5-9K. If you want to study Art at university then a lot of places require you to take an Art Foundation year first (which could be free) and base their offer to you on that..
