    Yeah you can't score straight from a throw in. Someone should have told the ref this when Enckelmen had his howler at St. Andrews in 2002.

    But as Mackay said, the keeper got a touch on it so it's an own goal. Otherwise had the keeper let the ball go in, it won't have counted.

    This. Even if the keeper got a touch, I still don't think it should count, as the shot...er...throw was on target anyway.

    Shouldn't have counted. Not because it is directly from a throw in but because Fifa outlawed that forward flip throw.
