Why's it so quiet? because there's no people?!!! was that an insult? Watch

    I was just feeling down and said "why's it so quiet" and this swedish girl said "because there's no people" is that like saying i'm an idiot? I always take things the wrong way.

    I'd suggest she said it because there weren't many other people about and therefore it was quiet/ quieter than usual.
    Also if English isn't her first language perhaps the way she said it (tone etc) was a little odd and that's why you felt it was odd.

    thank you, i tried to strike convo up and she did reply and stuff so i guess she didnt mean anything by it. im annoyed at myself for always thinking after the fact rather than asking straight away how they implied it.
