    One of the spamming advertisers who creates new accounts to post links to their fake certificate web site has stopped using their URL and is instead now posting an image with their URL in it.

    Four potential suggestions:

    (a) Amend your 'upload image' code to have a blacklist of URLs you cannot upload from. However, this will only be a minor inconvenience for the spammers as they will just keep creating new domains to upload from.

    (b) Do not allow new accounts to upload images until they have made n posts.

    (c) All images uploaded by new accounts must get moderator approval first.

    (d) Write a new Mega Spammer Purge function.
    A function for moderators which, for a given posted message:
    - prompts the moderator for a domain name from the message and adds it to the sweary filter;
    - identifies every thread the poster has created anywhere on the forum and deletes the entire thread;
    - deletes any remaining posts they have made anywhere on the forum;
    - blocks the account.
    This will help with the fake certificate people who create a bunch of threads at a time in different sections, inconveniencing a number of moderators.

    E) increase the time between posting new threads for users with fewer than 10 posts.

    That would help with these spammers.

    Amend it slightly to "There must be at least 1 day elapse for each new thread you create, until " and it might slow down the supremacist / race hate / religion hate / sex hate trolls too.

    But, some people create a new account then create the same "How do I answer this question?" thread in 3 or 4 different folders. They would be caught and slowed down too. Is that undesirable, or a bonus?
