Does a Girl Giving Out her No, necessarily mean interest?
Personally, I would say no.
However, be good to hear other peoples opinions and why girls do give out there numbers if genuinely not interested.

Every girl is different, but if i gave out my number it would mean i was definitely interested 
but then that might be just me.

Sometimes it could mean no, they may just give it to you to be polite or to get rid of you.

She is probably just interested, it doesn't mean she wants to sleep with you at this stage. Men would do well to remember that

some people give out numbers to everyone just for the hell of it.

For me it would depend on the circumstances of the meeting. If it was in a club situation, I certainly wouldn't give my number to someone I wasn't interested in. However if I met someone at uni for example, I might give them my number as a friend, but this wouldn't be till after knowing them for a bit. I don't know whether that's any help.
*Edit* I would never give my number to someone to 'be polite'. I've had guys pester me for their number and I have refused, because I have a boyfriend and I don't want random people contacting me. I definately wouldn't give my number to someone if I would object them calling me.

To be honest it can be pure awkwardness of not wanting to say no, but still not being interested. Particularly if someone is really persuasive...

I have, on occasion, given my number to a complete random with little to no recollection of doing so the following day.

It can mean different things. At the start of uni, I gave my number out to a few people, but I tend to get on better with guys, so yeah, I gave my numbers out to them; not with the intention of dating at all!
In clubs, I certainly wouldn't give my number out to anyone..though I gave my number to a guy I did meet in a club in freshers' week...that was with intentions...

Nah, I don't think girls are necessarily interested in anyone they give their number to. BUT if you call and she picks up, then that's positive. IF you talk more than 3 times then yeah, she is interested

I very rarely give out my number, on the few occasions I have done it has only been because I'm interested in seeing that person again. If I'm not interested and you ask for my number I'd say no.
