never been sick from alcohol

Why is it that I've never been sick from alcohol and nor has one of my friends. No matter how much I drink (and it includes enough to completley forget the night), I've never been sick or have hangovers in the morning. On the surface, this seems like a good thing, but is it really? I know that drinking till you forget isn't healthy, but it's only happened twice. But never had a hangover, although after a lot of shots my stomach feels heavy in the morning.

Yeah, that's awesome. I'm the same. I haven't puked in about 3 years, and it's not uncommon for me to drink more than 15 double vodka and cokes in a night, sometimes upwards of 20. Treat it as a blessing, puking is absolutely vile.

how old are you? I never had a hang over until I was 19, despite drinking more then that I do now, also, spirits don't give you much of a hang over, beer and cider are the big culprits there.

lucky you, I know how you feel. I've only ever had 2 hangovers, never been sick *touches wood*

I'm 19, almost 20. I never drank until I was 19. I'm not trying to show off or anything lol, just wasn't sure if it's a good thing or not in terms of what's happening inside the body.

Hmmm, I'm kind of the same. I drink more now than I did then (in terms of quantity as opposed to regularity) but my tolerance has also gone, up, so I suppose I get roughly as drunk as I did, but these days I can't be up at 10AM feeling sober and fresh as a daisy and go out for a run or a game of tennis, I feel like a battered mess until afternoon at earliest.

Maybe you just have a really healthy liver? i remember when i was 15 once i got totally smashed, and forgot what happened but woke up the next morning and was fine. Turned out id headbutted my mate giving him a black eye, and puked everywhere.

Abusing alcohol is not clever, and even though you can get away with it now while your young, remember all good things come to an end and your habits will catch up with you!

In all fairness, I'm not exactly the most upbeat person in the morning, and I generally sleep through the alarm, so it's a pretty deep sleep. But there's no headache or anything, and it just feels like a normal day.

That's true, and for that reason, I've pretty much given up on alcohol. Only have a few on a night out to be a bit more sociable. It's just something I've been thinking about after a friend of mine described what happened to him last night.

Count yourself lucky! I've not been sick from alcohol that many times, but it really isn't nice!

Guinness + Some spirits + Red Wine.

Works everytime...

Yeah you'll just be destroying your stomach lining, raising your blood pressure, getting gout and fatty liver but I guess so long as you don't have a headache it's fine

I'm the same. It just doesn't happen, even if I'm drunk to the point of not being able to stand up.
