I am now choosing my GCSES and want to go into a career like Journalism or similar. I enjoy English, Art and Geography. But is it necessary to take History or Latin?

It's not necessary but they're both useful, especially history for general knowledge. Latin i cant stand and the grade boundaries are really high but having said that it can help you improve your english vocab i guess? Historys probably more useful though

As above, history would be great if you are continuing English to a high level post-16, and is a well-thought of subject. I can't speak for latin, although it is equal as facilitating, I'd assume history is more relevant.

Nice to meet another future journalism on TSR! Do you have any idea on which sort of subjects that interest you in Journalism? If so, that may help you whittle down your options. Make sure that you're studying English Literature!

My school doesn't offer Latin, but I personally wouldn't study it if it was. History is a good subject, yet I believe that you should follow your instincts and select your options on what you love the most: Art and Geography are both greatly admired subjects, and I'm in awe of anyone who excels in them!
