Disclosure Barring Service check, HOW?

How and where do I apply for a Disclosure Barring Service check? nearly every course I have applied for is asking for one.. help!

I'm not, I'm applying for childhood studies. Well I have applied and have already received an offer. The conditions mentions having a DBS certificate

DBS checks are done by the University once you start your course. So no need to worry about obtaining one beforehand as they must be done in your place of current employment / education.
