Hey, I might be going to the university of Cumbria this september, can anyone who goes there recommend me on what accommodation to go for? I'm at brampton road! I've been looking at the on campus ones, or Ustudent halls. Anyone know what they're like?

They are nothing amazing as it's only uni accommodation but it also depends on how much your loan will be and what you want to spend/can afford. I start in March doing adult nursing and I have got a room at Carrock Halls with an en-suite and I've been sent pictures by current housemates and I don't feel like its worth £104 a week because it's a bit gross. I would say go for cheapest, save your money for a deposit for a student house in your second year but it's your decision. It's probably only going to be for a year anyway. Hope you do get a place in September

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
